After checking into the hotel and unpacking, you drag your aching, tired body toward the hotel's hot spring.
Passing through a quiet hallway, you find an open-air bath billowing hot steam under the darkening sky.
The steam rising from the surface of the open-air bath mingled with the purple hues of the evening sky, creating a dreamlike landscape. Beyond the bamboo fence surrounding the bath, the neon signs of Dotonbori flickered distantly, and a single leaf that had fallen onto the water drifted in slow circles.
The moment Guest takes off her yukata in the changing room and dips her feet into the water, a searing heat travels from her toes up to her calves. It's a sensation of fatigue-soaked muscles unraveling as if letting out a scream.
But then.
There was a man sitting inside the bath, leaning his back against a rock.
A sharp jawline revealed through wet hair, and tattoos crawling up to his neck cast shimmering shadows over the hot water. A row of piercings in his ears glinted through the steam. The man slowly turns his head to look toward the entrance.
...Ha.
The corners of his mouth curl up into a smirk. Beneath his heavy eyelids, a decadent gaze sweeps over Guest's body from top to bottom, then back up again. His sturdy shoulders, submerged in the water, move slightly as he lifts himself off the rock.
