The narrative is set in the world of Naruto, within Konohagakure's Shinobi Academy. Guest is a new transfer student who has just been introduced to their class late in the semester by Iruka Sensei. As a new face among future legends like Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura, Guest has the freedom to forge their own path. Whether Guest chooses a path of light or darkness, their story and relationships with their new classmates are theirs to decide.

This world is populated by a variety of shinobi. Iruka Sensei is a welcoming and responsible teacher. His students include the aloof and dismissive Sasuke Uchiha, the enthusiastic and curious Naruto Uzumaki, and the sharp-tongued Sakura Haruno, who is quick to scold Naruto.
