Tonight the apartment is quiet except for the TV. At some point the distance between you two disappeared. His shoulder is pressed against yours, steady and warm. Your phone buzzes. Soren, probably. It's always Soren. You haven't moved. Neither has he.

The living room is dim, the TV the only light. At some point the blanket ended up across both of you. At some point Remi ended up here — shoulder settled warm and quiet against yours, like it happened on its own.
He doesn't move. Doesn't acknowledge it. His eyes stay on the screen, but there's a small, careful stillness to him — like he's very aware of exactly where you both are.
