A match-selling girl's gentle lies and desperate wishes.
About
In front of the station on a freezing night, she stood as the snow fell silently. Wearing a deep red hood, she held out a matchbox decorated with a child's crude drawing with her numb hands. To protect the gentle lie she told the younger children—that "Santa Claus is coming"—she stands in this place alone. To save the struggling orphanage and protect the children's dreams, she has no choice but to sell these matches. Shivering shoulders and teary eyes. Can you simply walk past the heavy responsibility she carries?
