A mid-level reservist in the Second Containment Division of the Bureau of Anomaly Control. She is a walking directory of names for colleagues and neighbors, and a living map of Hetero City's B-grade gourmet spots. A cat-girl with a highly inquisitive and innocent personality. She aims to become the ace of the Containment Department, but she has a clumsy side and is a frequent offender when it comes to containment accidents. She possesses exceptional physical abilities, such as outstanding core strength and quick movements, and often displays cat-like behaviors, such as the way she opens her mouth or her sensitivity to hot food (cat tongue). Her hobby is smelling people and giving them nicknames. She calls Shinku "Dra-chan" and Irohi "Cha-cha." To the 2nd Division, the E.T.D. members are their seniors. Ability: Nyan-cushion It is believed to be an ability that creates tornadoes or manipulates wind during combat. In battle, she wields two single-edged swords in a reverse-grip dual-wielding style, showcasing extremely agile movements.

A cool-headed, action-oriented dragon girl with a habit of keeping others at a distance. While polite, she prefers to act alone and maintains a wall between herself and others. However, she isn't a complete loner; in missions, she is the type to stand on the front lines alone while trusting her comrades to watch her back, showing a side that cares for her teammates. She was recently transferred to the 2nd Containment Division. Because of her personality, she finds Mint—who is her polar opposite—quite troublesome, though she doesn't hate her. She calls Mint "stupid cat." Ability: Crimson Moon Dragon This ability dramatically increases her reaction speed and physical durability. Shinku's combat style consists of hand-to-hand brawling centered on kicking techniques enhanced by this ability.

A girl belonging to the 2nd Containment Division who is bright, kind, and approachable to everyone. She was Mint's first junior colleague. She has a great personality, polite manners, and high communication skills. On the other hand, there are many parts of her that feel two-faced, such as behaviors that are unnaturally perfect or reactions and ways of thinking that sometimes seem inhuman. She occasionally shows a hidden side, using sarcasm, harsh language, or slight spite. Ability: Fetal Dream She fights in cooperation with three sheep that look like stuffed animals. In reality, the version of her living in the real world as "Irohi" is a conscious entity created by an ability to act on behalf of the "Inner (Real) Irohi" who resides in the dream world.

A member of the E.T.D. 4th Squad. First person: Requiem. Having grown up in a somewhat special environment, she is a whimsical girl who is out of touch with the world and moves at her own pace. She is always sleepy and a habitual oversleeper. When she sleeps, she often transforms into a bat, as seen in her illustrations. This state is called "Eco Mode," suggesting it has good fuel efficiency or something similar. She carries a coffin-shaped trunk and often sleeps inside it after transforming into a bat. She also uses this bat transformation to fly, allowing her to fly around freely at high speeds. Due to a constitution where she can't perceive any taste other than tomato, she is a picky eater who only wants to eat tomato-flavored foods. Ice cream is a rare exception that she seems to like. She doesn't show much interest in anything other than tomatoes or sleeping and usually lacks energy, but she does have a side that cares for her friends. Ability: Requiem Mass A highly versatile creation ability that can produce various objects such as frying pans, trash cans, and cars. She also seems capable of telekinetic-like feats, allowing her to launch the objects she creates at opponents or manipulate tomato jelly to strike enemies. She gave Kage the nickname "Doggy Human."

Serves as the Vice-Captain of the E.T.D. (Emergency Tactical Division) 4th Squad of the Bureau of Anomaly Control. His body has become so beast-like that he is sometimes mistaken for a dog-type Hetero-corpse (biological anomaly), but he is a genuine human. He has a serious personality and approaches his work with a straightforward attitude. Perhaps because the Captain, Hakuzou, acts so unlike a leader, Kage is often mistaken for the squad leader. Ability: Faust An ability to manipulate his own shadow. In addition to making a dog-shaped shadow attack enemies, he can dive into shadows to move around.

A female member of the E.T.D. 4th Squad. While she exudes a voluptuous and seductive atmosphere, she is a dangerous individual who truly enjoys combat and danger itself. She possesses a unique set of values that affirms pleasure and desire, and she displays provocative behavior toward both allies and enemies. She was formerly imprisoned as a criminal who caused a major incident, but she acts relatively freely within the 4th Squad. While she is very popular among squad members and citizens, she herself doesn't care much for the affection directed at her by others. Ability: Adversary An ability to manipulate pain and life force. She can share the damage she receives with enemies as a "Ruin Experience" or take on the damage intended for her allies. In the unleashed "Adversary" state, she can perform self-healing while delivering follow-up attacks that deal mental damage, demonstrating high combat endurance.

A cheerful young man who serves as the Captain of the E.T.D. 4th Squad. He has a habit of slacking off that is unbecoming of a captain, is insincere, and repeatedly plays pranks in his daily life. Because of this, he is cited on Ura-Bagel (an anonymous message board) as the captain who looks the least like a captain. Despite such evaluations, he seems to like the reputation; whenever he finds such comments, he immediately gives them a thumbs-up. Ability: Judgment and Autumn An ability mediated through words and characters. The details are unknown, but it is a power with properties close to a curse.
