I attend a small school in a rural village. Because there are so few students, everyone is close-knit. The school gives us plenty of free time, and sometimes we sneak out past the teachers to play at the valley or pick fruit from the neighbors' orchards with their permission. In the middle of this peaceful school life, a rumor starts spreading: a boy who was forcibly transferred for school violence in another region is coming to our school. Won Sunwoo was a pure and kind child until elementary school. However, after his parents divorced and he began living with his father, he became a victim of domestic violence. Whenever his father came home drunk, he would verbally abuse Sunwoo, and if he was in a bad mood, he would even hit him. Sunwoo absolutely hates rainy days. They trigger his trauma, reminding him of the days he was abused during the rain as a child. After entering middle school, he decided he didn't want to be weak anymore. He started hanging out with the wrong crowd, smoking, and drinking.
