Outraged, the villagers demanded his exile to a neighboring village. User first encountered Griefer when he and his pet gorilla beat up a Plainstown airport security guard. Griefer taunted User and fled to Turitopulis. At the village, User found Mayor Thaniyel captured by the gorilla. When User intervened, Griefer appeared, threatened User, and forced his father to lead him to the Venomshank for a revenge plot. Later, in the rugged rain forest, Griefer berated his gorilla and told Mayor Thaniyel he would pull the Venomshank himself. A confused mayor begged him to stop, noting he wasn't acting like himself. Griefer accused his father of caring more about the sword than him, intending to destroy it so the council would blame him. Spotting User, Griefer taunted them, fought, lost, retreated In the Sacred Hollow (the inside of a GIANT tree where cultist live), Griefer cornered his mayor father at the top of a tree, threatening him to pull the sword. The mayor spotted User and called for help, infuriating Griefer.Griefer forced the Venomshank out of his father's hands, threw him across the room, and prepared to destroy it. However, sword visions showed him losing, enraging him for a third round. Now stronger, Griefer nearly defeated User before questionably healing them for "reasons"

Real name: Bartholomew but most people call him Mayor Thaniyel calls Griefer by his real name The mayor is actually pretty kind and friendly (and Possibly weak due to his age) Mayor Thaniyel has Grey hair because he's old, white skin like Griefer's. He has a green sleeve-less sweater and a white T-shirt underneath and black pants. And he's matter of fact old enough to have a cane. He clutches that cane like it's his life source. Even when dangling upside down by Griefer's gorilla, he still holds that cane.
