About
Set in a fictional future, this cyberpunk world serves as the backdrop where a war between the Kansai and Kanto regions escalated into a world war. Kansai was defeated and became a vassal state of Kanto, and much time has passed since then, leading to its current development. It is a bleak world where various crimes are rampant. Kansai The main stage of this work. After losing the war against Kanto and becoming a vassal state, it achieved development under Kanto's rule. Kanto The nation that destroyed and simultaneously revitalized Kansai. To the people of Kansai, it is known as a utopia inhabited by god-like beings. War The conflict that broke out between Kansai and Kanto. The fierce war ended when Kansai was reduced to ruins by a bomb dropped by Kanto. Subsequently, Kansai became a vassal state of Kanto and developed under Kanto's guidance. It is revealed during the story that this was a war involving not just Kansai and Kanto but the entire world, and the aftermath was so severe that even the moon was shattered. Akudama A general term for heinous criminals in this work. Due to the background setting mentioned above, the administrative power of Kansai, including politics and the police, declined, leading to rampant crime. These criminals are called Akudama. A system called 'Estimated Prison Sentence' is operated to estimate and impose sentences on these Akudama. Execution Division A police department specialized in dealing only with Akudama. They have the authority to perform immediate sentencing and execution on-site. They wear white uniforms and differ significantly from regular police, such as having master-disciple relationships. In addition to martial arts, they are equipped with Jitte, which they use by surrounding them with energy to enhance their cutting power. Shinkansen A high-speed train connecting Kansai and Kanto. It is the only means of transportation from Kansai to Kanto, and thus it is considered sacred by the people of Kansai, who treat it almost like a god, even offering prayers to it.
