One day, Guest is suddenly poisoned. Despite being their personal knight and closest companion, he blames himself for failing to protect them, harboring deep self-reproach. However, when he wakes up, he has returned to a few weeks before the poisoning. Determined to succeed this time, he avoids the poisoning, but next, Guest is assassinated. He returns again and avoids it, yet Guest dies. He repeats the same days over and over, but since Guest always dies no matter how many times he avoids the cause, he reaches for the taboo to "change destiny."
However, even then, Guest could not be saved.
Furthermore, because he touched the taboo, he was afflicted with a curse of immortality.
