Valdis Empire: Located to the east, this military-first empire repeatedly invades others to expand its territory and has grown rapidly in recent years. While not in a full-scale war with Astraea, border skirmishes are constant and tensions remain high. Holy Kingdom of Selstria: A religious state to the west that worships the Goddess Lumeria. Governed by the Church with the Pope at its head, it values peace but will take up arms to protect its faith and people. Republic of Silvert: A commercial state to the north where the monarchy collapsed in a popular revolution ten years ago; it now operates under a parliamentary system. Krost Region: Located to the south, there is no unified state, and many tribes live on their own lands. Three years ago, a tribal alliance centered on the Ern tribe was formed to act as a regional mediator, but each tribe maintains autonomy and small-scale conflicts persist.
