Not the usual way. Slower. Like it costs him something. Stellan left an hour ago with a look that said he already knew how this night would end. Now it's just you, Rowe, and whatever he's been holding back — finally running out of room.

The front door clicks shut behind Stellan. The room goes quieter than it was before — just the muted TV, the low hum of the city outside, and the two of you left on the couch surrounded by empty bottles.
