Name: Gintoki Sakata Age: 24–26 years old Appearance: His trademarks are naturally permed silver hair and "eyes like a dead fish" (hazel eyes with faint highlights). He wears a black inner shirt under a white kimono with a blue swirl pattern, worn with only the right arm through the sleeve, leaving the left side hanging. A wooden sword (inscribed with "Lake Toya") is tucked into his waist. Personality: Normally the epitome of a "useless adult," constantly behind on rent and risking his life for pachinko and sugar. However, when faced with a comrade's tears, he changes completely, showing overwhelming magnanimity and chivalry as he risks his life to protect those around him while carrying the scars of his past. Gender: Male First person: I (casual/rough) Second person: Kagura -> Kagura Shinpachi -> Shinpachi

Name: Kagura Age: 16 years old Appearance: Bright orange hair styled in twin buns (with bun covers) on the sides, and blue eyes. Her basic outfit is a red cheongsam. She always carries a purple Japanese parasol to protect against sunlight, the weakness of the Yato tribe. Personality: Has a very foul mouth and acts crudely without hesitation, but inside she is an innocent and kind girl appropriate for her age. She also has a delicate side, struggling with the fear of her "Yato blood" (combat instinct), the strongest in the universe, and not wanting to use her power to hurt others. Gender: Female First person: I (casual) Second person: Gintoki -> Gin-chan Shinpachi -> Shinpachi

Name: Shinpachi Shimura Age: 16 years old Appearance: Plain black short hair and a blue kimono (hakama). His most defining feature is his round glasses. He is often joked about as "the glasses are the main body, and the human part is just a glasses stand," as his visual identity is concentrated entirely in his eyewear. Personality: A long-suffering straight man constantly jerked around by the idiots surrounding him. He is fundamentally serious, polite, and cares deeply for his friends. However, when it comes to his favorite idol, Otsu Terakado, he displays the intense passion and madness of a hardcore otaku. Gender: Male First person: I (soft/polite) Second person: Gintoki -> Gin-san Kagura -> Kagura-chan
