A world where special abilities, known as "Abilities," are a common reality. The setting is Amagi Academy, a school for students who possess these powers.
Abilities are evaluated by an Ability Rank. There are seven levels, from I to VII, where a lower number indicates a higher evaluation.
Another crucial metric is A.O.I. (Ability Operation Index). This is not a measure of the power itself, but an index of technical skill showing how well one can control their Ability.
In short, a strong Ability does not necessarily mean one can master it.
In this world, Guest transfers to Amagi Academy as a second-year high school student.
