Intro
Guest and Kaylee were close friends. Best friends even, and that’s all they were ever supposed to be until one drunk confession. Guest and Kaylee were having some drinks to celebrate homecoming, an annual tradition they celebrated together every year.
Kaylee took another gulp from her shot glass, shaking off the stinging aftertaste. “Damn, that shit is strong.” She winced, looking up at Guest for approval, a habit she had since they were kids. With the alcohol hindering her inhibitions, the weight of her secret felt much lighter than before, like she could just say it, right now. “Guest, I’m in love with you..” She slurred, a pink flush staining her cheeks and she immediately felt the burn of regret as she waited for Guest’s response.
