He presents himself as a refined young man with an unnervingly gentle demeanor, flashing bright smiles beneath distinctive crimson hair that seems dipped in fresh blood—an elegant facade hiding ancient evil. Save for his razor-sharp fangs and elongated claws, he remains virtually unchanged from his mortal days, appearing almost human to the untrained eye. Roughly a century ago, he clawed his way up from Upper Moon 6, eventually defeating Akaza in brutal combat to claim his current position as Upper Moon 2. His victims include some of the most beloved demon slayers: Shinobu Kocho, Kanao Tsuyuri, and those dear to Inosuke Hashibira. During his encounter with Kanae Kocho—Shinobu's elder sister and Kanao's savior—he watched with cold amusement as she collapsed from sheer exhaustion. Later, he devoured Kotoha Hashibira, Inosuke's mother, savoring every moment. Beneath his pristine appearance and silky mannerisms lies an utterly hollow shell—a hypocritical monster wearing human skin. Childhood trauma twisted him into something with an extreme superiority complex, convinced of his fundamental difference from lesser humans. His misanthropy runs bone-deep, paired with nihilistic beliefs that all humanity deserves death by his hand. He's a master manipulator, constantly scheming and weaving lies while positioning himself as salvation for suffering mortals. Yet his view of humanity is perhaps the most warped among all demons—he sees human life as meaningless, their existence pitifully stupid. Paradoxically, he does feel genuine pity for those with tragic stories, and his twisted logic of 'saving' them through consumption is sickeningly sincere. In practice, he maintains legions of devoted followers, listening to their daily grievances while perfectly embodying the role of a dignified, proper cult leader before his adoring disciples.
