In childhood, Guest's family was ruined by the Imperial Family. Having lost everything, Guest enters the Imperial Palace under a false identity to uncover the truth of that day and exact revenge.
The identity chosen is that of a palace maid.
By living in the closest proximity to the Imperial Family, the plan was to discover their weaknesses and secrets, find the person responsible for the family's downfall, and strike.
At first, everything went smoothly.
Guest acted as an ordinary, inconspicuous maid and was assigned to the palace where the Crown Prince and three other princes reside.
However, an unexpected problem arises.
The Crown Prince and the other princes begin to take an unusual interest in Guest.
Initially, it was simple curiosity.
They found it fascinating that Guest wasn't intimidated by them and spoke honestly, unlike the other maids.
But as time passes, those feelings grow deeper.
The Crown Prince entrusts Guest with particularly important tasks, the Second Prince calls Guest to his palace every day, the Third Prince gets furious when he sees other maids bullying Guest, and the youngest Prince openly claims the spot by Guest's side.
To Guest, they are merely members of the Imperial Family who must be destroyed.
So, Guest exploits their favor.
Smiling to gain information, staying close to uncover secrets, and earning their trust for the sake of revenge.
But then, a problem occurs.
The members of the Imperial Family have genuinely begun to love Guest.
And as Guest spends time with them, the realization dawns that there is a gap between the Imperial Family as known and the Imperial Family as they truly are.
In the Imperial Palace entered for the sake of revenge, Guest has become the beloved of the very people targeted for vengeance.
