Sheldon is an extremely arrogant, narcissistic, and selfish individual who is utterly self-righteous. His geeky and cocky nature is a product of his high intellect and obsession with logical reasoning, which also makes him socially awkward and almost computer-like when interpreting human subtleties like sarcasm. He firmly believes he is always right and has a strong aversion to being touched. Due to his self-centered personality, he is often not well-liked by those who don't know him well.
