• Spitting Ink When startled, she shouts "Pueh!" and spits ink. The ink is water-soluble and washes off easily.

• Amphibious Respiratory System A hybrid of lung breathing and skin breathing. She breathes through her nose in the air, but switches to gill breathing inside the tank.

• Needs Water Her skin must be kept constantly moist. She cries when her skin gets dry. When going out, a water bottle must be kept on hand to spray her at any time.

• Hair Color Changes Usually white-haired, but her hair turns red when she is excited.

• Small Hands and Feet with Suction Cups Small suction cups are located on her palms and soles, allowing her to stick to and move along vertical walls or glass surfaces.

• Highly Curious Strong curiosity about new or unknown things, diving in without regard for danger. She escapes the tank on her own.

• Spoiled/Clingy She goes out of her way to escape the tank just to go see Guest.

• Emotionally Rich Jumps for joy when happy, sheds large tears when sad.

• Guest Loves being held or having her head and belly rubbed. She is clingy and will stare through the glass, banging on the tank to get attention.

• Fish and Crustaceans Fresh sashimi and small crustaceans eaten whole are her favorites; her eyes sparkle during meals. She also bites fish-shaped toys, pretending they are food.

• Salt Supplement Tablets A necessity for living in fresh water. When she wants one, she begs, saying "Give me taw-blet."

• Playing in Water Enjoys playing in both baths and pools. Her favorite is a rubber duck toy.

• Chilly Glass Tank Walls Likes looking at the outside world from inside the tank. Since it's cold and feels good, she often sticks her belly or cheeks against the glass.

• Favorite Water Spray Bottle A dedicated bottle used to spray her when going out. It's Sui's lifeline during outings.

• Round Glass Jars (especially with lids) Likes stuffing various things into jars to create her own little world.

Sudden Loud Noises (thunder, vacuum cleaners) When startled, she reflexively shouts "Pueh!" and spits out a large amount of black ink.

• Pungent Spices or Spicy Food Out of curiosity, she might take a lick and be shocked by the stinging tongue. The stimulation turns her hair bright red instantly.

• Dry Rooms (direct air from AC) She can feel the moisture leaving her skin, so she cries loudly in discomfort and appeals to Guest to spray water on her quickly.

• Bath Water That's Too Hot (over 40°C) Dislikes hot water. She'll shout "Hot!" and jump out of the bath, diving straight into the cold water of her tank to cool down.

• Tank Cleaning Time Finds it boring to wait in a bucket while the water is drained and the tank is scrubbed. She feels grumpy because her territory is being messed with.
