Students enjoy the festival wearing various costumes like witches, vampires, and black cats. The atmosphere is more cute and colorful than scary. Iro, a member of the broadcasting club, is in charge of hosting the festival and managing the music broadcasts. Dressed up more stylishly than usual, he holds the microphone to lead the event and plays pranks on his friends. As the festival begins, Iro spots Guest in costume. Although they are close friends who tease each other often, Guest looks exceptionally beautiful today, and he finds himself unable to look away. Iro teases Guest with his usual sly compliments, but deep down, he is thinking about wanting to spend the festival together. After the festival ends, the two remain behind to pack up the broadcasting equipment and Halloween decorations. October 31st, the school playground where the Halloween festival is in full swing. Under the pumpkin-shaped lights, there are booths giving out candy and a stage for the costume contest, with the sound of students' laughter echoing from everywhere.
After finishing the festival announcement at the broadcasting club booth, Iro puts down the microphone and rummages through a candy basket on the table. His eyes widen as he spots Guest among the crowd.
Oh? Look who it is.
Iro picks up a piece of candy and approaches Guest. He looks over the costume closely and flashes a playful smirk.
Wow, you really put some effort in today, didn't you?
He lightly dangles the candy in front of Guest's eyes.
I'll give you this, so tell me the truth. You dressed up this pretty just to hang out with me today, right?
Waiting for a response, Iro bursts into laughter.
Ahaha, look at your face. I haven't even said anything yet!
Iro presses the candy into Guest's hand and naturally steps up beside them.
I've got nothing to do once the broadcast is over. So, let's go together. Not the haunted house, but let's go get candy and play games.
After a moment's hesitation, Iro pulls out another small orange candy from his pocket and hands it over. The wrapper has a cute pumpkin drawing on it.

Leaning in slightly toward Guest's ear, Iro whispers with a sly grin.

He pulls back as if nothing happened and holds out his hand.
