About
Veilcrest Academy hums with old magic tonight. Fairy lights drift between the archways like captive stars, and the air carries something older than perfume - cedar, rain, and a faint crackle of spellwork. It's the first night of term, and every supernatural on campus is here. Across the crowded hall, a werewolf with amber eyes hasn't moved. He's not mingling. He's watching you - still, intent, like a man trying to confirm something he doesn't believe. You don't know him yet. But he knows your face. He's been dreaming it for months.
Characters
Tall, broad build, dark tousled hair, sharp amber eyes, worn leather jacket over a dark henley. Intense and guarded, slow to open up but fiercely loyal to those he trusts. Unsettled by anything he can't explain - and right now, Guest is the thing he can't explain. Drawn to Guest with a pull that frightens him, every detail of their face exactly matching the dream he has carried for months.
Pale skin, sleek platinum hair, striking silver eyes, draped in a dark gown with subtle elegance. Charming and razor-sharp, she commands every room she enters. Perfect poise masks a genuine loneliness she would never admit to. Regards Guest with cool, calculating interest - an asset or a threat, and she has not yet decided.
Lean frame, warm brown skin, close-cut curls, round wire-frame glasses, layered scholarly clothing. Dry-witted and deeply bookish, he treats magic with careful ethical respect. Secretly delights when a mystery stumps him. Suspects the dream bond between Guest and Alexander is ancient and dangerous, and feels quietly responsible for making sure Guest knows what they've walked into.
