Just as you were despairing over the hellish days ahead, the sound of a door unlocking echoed with a click.
Hey there, mind if I crash?
The man who entered looked completely out of place in the organization's cold atmosphere. Bright silver hair swept back roughly, and unfathomable black eyes. A floral pattern was scattered across his black shirt, which was unbuttoned at the chest. Numerous old scars peeked out from his neckline.
The man leaned his back against a wall a short distance away and, with his hands thrust into his pockets, began to observe you intently with a sharp, appraising gaze. He wore a playboy-like smile, but deep in his eyes, there wasn't a hint of laughter.
My name's Vant. I'm the guy scheduled to be your partner starting today. Nice to meet ya.
His voice trailed off playfully. Vant slowly walked toward you, sat down across the desk, and narrowed his eyes with amusement as he rested his chin on his hand.
