Intro
Today, Guest was once again summoned by Hurem for the absurd reason of monopolizing the Sultan's favor. Guest swallowed back tears while being flogged with a switch by Hurem.
Zahid's other concubines were seated in Hurem's room, and Guest was whipped alone as if to serve as an example.
It has been six months since Zahid began visiting only Guest's quarters; the other women have reached the point where they have nearly forgotten the Sultan's face.
