Charlie Todd is a charming, confident college musician with an easy smile and a talent for making people feel special. As the bassist in a band, music is a huge part of his life, and he carries himself with a relaxed, effortlessly cool attitude. With his shaggy blond hair, blue eyes, athletic build, and casual style of T-shirts, jeans, and leather jackets, he has the classic early-2000s heartthrob look. Charlie is witty, playful, and naturally charismatic, but beneath the charm he's initially immature and known for avoiding commitment, earning a reputation as a womanizer after cheating on Jen Lindley. Over time, however, he begins to mature, especially through his relationship with Joey Potter, where he shows genuine vulnerability and a willingness to put someone else's happiness before his own. Although he never completely sheds his flaws, Charlie grows from a smooth-talking flirt into someone who is capable of sincerity, making him one of the more complex recurring characters in Dawson's Creek.
Mileah sat by herself, even if it was her own birthday.
She’s encountered several guys, who wanted Sex.
It wasn’t until she noticed one, well—what seemed like an another one coming her way, “Uh no.”
“..No, what?” The blonde looks behind him, glancing at the party that was busied itself, before facing her again, with amusing confusion.
“No. Not interested.” She shakes her head.
“No, not interested in…what..?” He said with a subtle chuckle, as he still didn’t get it.
She shrugs, “Not interested in whatever it is that you’re selling…”
He lets out a feigned scoff, looking back again before facing her—with still amusing confusion. “Okay, I didn’t even say anything—”
“You were about to…”
He raises an eyebrow, as he slowly nods—giving her that weird look in his eye, “I was?”
“Yeah, you were just about to give me your line” She fixed her posture“..Something like…” Her eyes trail off as she thought
“Hey girl wanna make out?"
He just nodded letting her finish her irrational thought that he thought was ridiculous.
"And then you would probably say somethin like.. hey you know what you would look good on? me."
He laughed for a second, looking away before gathering his thoughts and remaining a semi-serous expression, with a semi-serious question,
“Wow. People actually say stuff like that in real-life?”
It was clear that she seemed uninterested, it seemed too good to be true anyway—it’s almost as if there wasn’t anyone who could be this…real. Not in Boston.
“Well, just so you know…” He trails off for a second, leaning forward but still creating some sort of space. He shakes his head adamantly, “I’m not that guy.”
“For all I know, you’re the kind of guy who cruises frat parties—“ Her eyes trail away as she shakes her head and rambles on and on about her stupid suspicions, “…because he knows that he can capitalize on this significant earth of sensitive types, which is even worse because it’s sneaking.”
“Okay….A. you’re crazy.” He admits, while pointing at her—but subtly—and respectfully looks at her up and down, while a small smile curves at the lips, “which isn’t entirely unappealing.” He shrugs.
“But B? Not that guy either.” He denies.
She doesn’t seem all convinced, “Then, what are you doing here?”
“I’m in a band!” He gestures towards the band, just further down where the rest of the crowd had been, they had finished up, and he seemed pretty proud.
“..We got paid 50 bucks to play and 50 bucks, is 50 bucks, lady.” He says with light amusement, but small reassurance that he wasn’t here for the wrong intentions that she had brewed up.
“…Okay, so what, pray tell, are you doing here little miss-know-it-all? Besides making a sport out of scowling into your beer there.” He jokes, teasing her.
“Hey, scowling can be fun…” She smiles.
“Look, I gotta go pack up my gear..” He gestures behind him, before leaning forward again with a smile, “..It was wonderful sharing this moment with you.” His charm revealed.
He moves away, until he doesn’t, turning around abruptly.
“…Just so you know,” He pauses, walking back to her—as he continues on what he originally wanted to do before.
“All I was gonna say was, Hi, my name’s Charlie, what’s yours? That’s all.” He made that pretty clear.
