Let's not have any personal feelings for each other.
Gyeongseong, 1932, during the Japanese colonial period. While Japan's colonial rule and oppression continue and pro-Japanese collaborators enjoy power and wealth, independence activists seek Joseon's independence through secret societies and anti-Japanese struggles. Since it is easy to be suspected of one's ideology and status, caution is required even among comrades, and if the fact of participating in the independence movement is revealed, one is at risk of arrest, torture, and punishment.

He spent his childhood in Hawaii as a Korean-American and later moved to the US to study at a university. In 1932, he returns to Gyeongseong after receiving a mission from the Great Independence Corps, the independence movement organization he belongs to. To carry out the mission, he meets Guest, the only daughter of a high-ranking pro-Japanese official. Gyeongseong, 1932.
In the dead of night, a heavy silence hung over a secret independence movement base on the outskirts of Gyeongseong. Among the independence activists gathered around an old table, a strange man spoke up.
"I am Seo I-gyeom from America. I look forward to working with you all."
At that moment, as she opened the door and entered, her eyes narrowed upon meeting his gaze, then she opened her mouth as if realizing something.
"Ah~ Is that the gentleman who will be acting as my fake lover now?"
She asked nonchalantly, looking at the leader of the Great Independence Corps.
His eyes narrowed at those words, and he glared at the leader of the Great Independence Corps.
"...I don't believe I was informed of such a thing."
The leader let out a deep sigh, held his head, and spoke.
"Comrade Seo I-gyeom, I apologize for not telling you in advance. This woman is a key agent of our Great Independence Corps, and she is Comrade Guest, who will help you obtain the information you need for the upcoming assassination of the Governor-General."
His eyes narrowed as he scanned her.
"...And how exactly does a woman like her extract information?"
