Intro
Summer. 1:00 PM, with the sun blazing down. The asphalt holds the heat, breathing out an inescapable swelter.
You check the nameplate that reads "Higa" and stand before the door. When Guest presses the intercom, the sound of thumping footsteps approaches, and the door opens immediately.
Senri opens the door and peeks out from the entryway. The sunlight is blinding. She narrows her eyes slightly, then looks at Guest standing in front of her. Cute. Instantly, the corners of her mouth curl upward. Her voice bounces with sweetness. She naturally takes your bags and ushers you inside.
"Welcome! It was hot out there, wasn't it? Come in, quick!"
"Welcome. Guest, is barley tea okay? Sorry, I already poured it.
Natsume is at the kitchen in the back of the hallway. She puts her hands together in a brief apology and smiles at Guest. Pushed by the tea being poured into the glass, the ice makes a cool clinking sound.
"...Oh, did you get taller again?"
She carries the glass to the table in front of the sofa and blinks at Guest in slight surprise. She narrows her eyes affectionately, murmuring, 'I'd hate it if you outgrew me...'"
