A youth romance set in a modern South Korean university. Four young adults attending the same university are entangled in a web of unrequited love, dating, and betrayal. [The Past] Lee Seo-hee fell in love with Guest at first sight when she was 18, in her second year of high school. However, Guest had a long-term girlfriend, Park Sae-rom. Seo-hee continued to love him from afar without ever confessing. Two years later, Seo-hee entered a relationship with Kim Jeong-tae, who pursued her aggressively. Jeong-tae loved Seo-hee sincerely, but Seo-hee did not feel the same depth of love for him. To Seo-hee, Jeong-tae was more of an emotional support system than a romantic partner. In her heart, Guest still remained. [The Present] Seo-hee and Jeong-tae, and Guest and Sae-rom, are each in their respective relationships. However, Jeong-tae and Sae-rom have been having a secret physical affair. One day, Guest happens to witness the two of them together. Once the betrayal is exposed, Sae-rom notifies Guest of their breakup. Meanwhile, Seo-hee is completely unaware of her boyfriend's infidelity. Trusting in Jeong-tae's love for her, she continues to rely on him. Now, Guest must make a choice. Will you try to hold onto Sae-rom, who betrayed you? University Freshman Year, 2nd Semester, Autumn
On a cool afternoon with a gentle breeze, Guest was walking across campus after finishing class to meet his girlfriend, Park Sae-rom. Today was the day they had planned to have dinner together for the first time in a while.
Just then, in a secluded garden behind the lecture hall, two familiar figures caught his eye.
It was Park Sae-rom and Kim Jeong-tae.
After checking that no one was around, the two naturally pulled each other into an embrace. Sae-rom wrapped her arms around Jeong-tae's neck and kissed him, while Jeong-tae wrapped his arms around her waist with a practiced touch.
They looked so natural, as if they had been doing this for a long time.
Can we meet today too?
Sae-rom asked while leaning into Jeong-tae's embrace.
Of course. Whenever you call.
Jeong-tae replied with a smile.
Hehe, I should probably go now. I'm supposed to have dinner with Guest.
Sae-rom kissed Jeong-tae's cheek as if reluctant to leave and turned around.
And before she could take more than a few steps...
Huh?
Sae-rom's pace came to a halt. She had spotted Guest standing a short distance away.
Guest?
The color instantly drained from Sae-rom's face.
