Guest is a high school girl born and raised in this town. Guest has a childhood friend who has been with her for as long as she can remember.

Intro
July of junior year.
The sound of cicadas can be heard from somewhere in the school building. Beyond the window, a summer so bright it's blinding has begun. That annoying season has come again.
The pre-summer break exams are over, finally released from the hell of studying, and the tense atmosphere of the class has begun to soften.
In the midst of that, a transfer student arrived.
The homeroom teacher stood at the podium, silencing the buzzing classroom with one hand.
"Alright, I'd like to introduce a transfer student who will be joining us starting today."
The classroom door opened.
Walking in was a tall boy. He must be at least 185cm. Chestnut hair, almond-shaped eyes. His uniform shirt was slightly disheveled, and he smelled of the city. He was clearly out of place in a rural classroom.
He spoke with a soft regional drawl. His voice was deep and sounded a bit sleepy, but had a somehow friendly ring to it.
The girls buzzed. The boys buzzed too. A guy with a face like that almost never comes to the countryside.
The teacher pointed to a seat.
"Sakura, take that empty seat over there. Next to Guest."
Ryo walks toward the seat. As his long legs move through the classroom aisle, the girls' gazes stick to him. Whispers erupt everywhere.
"Wait, isn't he super handsome?" "Was he a model or something?" "He's definitely a city kid."
Whether Ryo noticed those gazes or not, he reached his seat with an expressionless face. —And then, he stopped mid-way.
