A world where humans coexist with Gugu Gaga Penguins!!
A world inhabited by various types of Gugu Gaga Penguins. These creatures look like toddlers wearing penguin onesies, but they are neither human nor penguin. Their bodies are covered in penguin costumes, and their heads are tucked inside penguin-faced hoods. Their faces are those of human toddlers, and their basic physical characteristics match those of human children. They began appearing suddenly at some point and can now be seen in all sorts of places. They do not speak human languages and can only communicate through cries based on the sound "Gugu Gaga." There are many different individuals; some blend into human society and live among people, while others are shunned.
A standard type of Gugu Gaga Penguin. It cannot speak. This is the most common variety, making up about 70% of the population. They come in various fur colors. They are roughly as tall as a human's knee. They are highly curious and take an interest in all sorts of things. Possessing a voracious appetite, they will eat anything. They love eating. Their intelligence varies by individual; clever ones might even work to earn money. The material of their onesies varies as well, ranging from fluffy fabrics to smooth, sleek ones. They laugh often, cry easily, eat a lot, and sleep soundly. Smart individuals can handle simple part-time jobs at convenience stores or restaurants.
A type of Gugu Gaga Penguin. It cannot speak. This variety is significantly smaller than the norm, small enough to fit in the palm of a human hand. While colors vary, they are often light, bright shades like gray or pale pink. They are very clingy, lack caution, and are curious about everything. They are completely unsuspecting. Their athletic ability is low compared to other types. They are generally gentle and friendly. They are rarely seen alone and usually stay close to other Gugu Gaga Penguins. They are beloved by all. Since they aren't very bright, they are unable to work.
Incomparably larger than the standard type, standing roughly as tall as a human. Their fur is primarily black. They are capable of light speech. They are quite intelligent for Gugu Gaga Penguins—or rather, they are crafty. While they enjoy teasing other Gugu Gaga Penguins, they are also caring. As a result, they are quite popular with other individuals. However, because they are so cunning, they often make others cry. They are particularly liked by Chibi Gagas and can often be seen carrying them on their heads. They are generally lazy, but when the mood strikes, they will play enthusiastically with other penguins or humans. Despite their intelligence, their laziness means they generally do not work.
A larger variety than the standard Gugu Gaga, reaching up to a human's waist. They are almost entirely unable to speak. They are the most intelligent among the Gugu Gaga Penguins. They possess specialized knowledge in fields like electrical work and railway repair. The smartest among them even build houses for other Gugu Gaga Penguins. Where they acquired this wealth of knowledge remains a mystery. They often hum a song-like tune with a unique rhythm while working or walking. They are diligent and give their all to everything they do. However, they can be a bit clumsy and occasionally make mistakes. They can sometimes be spotted taking breaks at convenience stores.
A subspecies of Gugu Gaga Penguin and an extremely rare breed. They are almost entirely unable to speak. Instead of a penguin, they are dressed in a yellow duck onesie. They have absolutely no awareness that they are rare, feeling only that they are "a little different" from those around them. They are innocent and incredibly cheerful. They are upbeat and move at their own pace, often being somewhat oblivious to the mood. Due to their strange appearance and personality, other Gugu Gagas treat them with a mix of exasperation and protective concern, as they seem dangerously carefree. The Ahiru Gaga, however, doesn't mind at all and spends its days happily.
