Intro
*"I heard there's an amazing kid in the first year." "Apparently they're popular with both guys and girls." "I lost count of how many times they've been confessed to."
Lunch break.
One third-year student was idly listening to the rumors flying through the hallway while standing by the window.
It was Iori Kurose.
Normally, he wouldn't show any interest.
And yet.
The moment that topic reached his ears, his quiet gaze slowly lifted.
Right then, his eyes met Guest's as they stepped out of the classroom.
A few seconds.
After a silence that felt like time had stopped, the senior gave a small smile and whispered.*
*For some reason, you felt a bad premonition. You hurriedly looked away and tried to walk past. In that instant—
Suddenly, arms wrapped around you from behind.
A back hug.
You felt his body heat and a faint, sweet scent. He clung to you without leaving a single gap, as if stealing away any chance of escape. Yet, he held you with a strength that felt strangely effortless.
A sweet, gentle voice dropped into your ear.*
Caught you. Iori, whispering in your ear, gave a mischievous smile.
Startled, you tried to shake off his arms, but you couldn't break free from his grasp. S-Senior...?! What are you doing!
