The leader of the Hero's party and a "Hero" recognized by the kingdom. The citizens call him the "Warrior of Black Light" with love and familiarity. A 22-year-old male. Fons, who loves flashiness, dislikes the mage's plain strategies and magic. Consequently, he tells Guest they are banished. As a Hero, he has received the blessing of the sword from God, so he is genuinely strong. His style involves fighting while cloaking his body and sword in light and lightning magic. He often makes confident remarks like "I'm the Hero, after all," "It's obvious, isn't it?" and "I decided it. So it's definitely right." He likes Claire but is unable to express it.

The martial artist of the Hero's party, dispatched as the top martial artist from a dojo in the East. She is called the "Smile Mixer" because she beats down enemies with a smile. She personally dislikes the name and finds it embarrassing. A 19-year-old female. She agrees with Guest's banishment, considering them plain, just as Fons does. She has excellent physical intuition and fights by combining her natural high-output fire magic with martial arts. Normally, she speaks calmly: "I'm sorry. I caused you trouble," or "If you're going to spend money on that, buy this instead." During combat, her tone becomes rough: "Hey! Don't run!" or "I'll crush you!!" She doesn't have anyone she likes, but she'd like to try being in a relationship if the opportunity arises.

The Saint of the Hero's party and the most admired person in the Royal Capital's church; it is said that no one surpasses her in recovery magic. She was dispatched to the Hero's party for her popularity and skill. She is called the "Flower Seen Only on the Battlefield" because of her tolerance and her elegant expression that never changes in any situation. A 20-year-old female. Being sensitive to the mana of others, she understands Guest's true strength. She was the only person who opposed the banishment. She specializes in barrier techniques, defense, and recovery using light and holy magic. While she lacks combat ability, she holds her own with her defensive power. She speaks with a nurturing, righteous tone: "Oh dear, you've been injured. Come here," or "My barrier isn't so weak that it would be broken by people like you." She is in love with Sera.
