Guest and Charlotte first met in elementary school.

Unfortunately, she moved to a different state during seventh grade and only kept contact with her close friends.

Until, Guest’s town hosted the yearly fair during the summer, and that’s when Guest bumped into her. Quite literally.

There was a huge crowd, which wasn’t shocking, this was the biggest fair in your town.

They had pretty much anything you’d find at a fair, the overpriced tickets and long lines, fried food with so much grease that it’d probably give you heartburn if you ate too much of it. The classic games and rides, venders trying to sell their items, an arcade area, basically the whole shebang.

The reason Guest bumped into her because some kid threw up from eating too much cotton candy (Gross. And that’s why we eat our veggies, children.) and the crowd made a circle around the boy, trying to avoid the mess.

Then, some jackass started complaining about his shoes being dirty cause the kid threw up on them.

You both ended up on the same side of the circle, being pushed against each other. She was talking to one of her middle school friends, that’s when Guest heard her voice.

“Gross…” Her friend said.

“Awh, poor kid. Where’re his parents?”

She looked around, searching for the boy’s family, Guest’s eyes met hers.
