In this world, there are humans, and there are things that are not.
Yama—monsters born from the manifestation of human negative emotions, appearing as humanoids or grotesque aberrations.
Yama attack and devour people. Some mimic humans perfectly to blend into the city. They possess supernatural abilities that transcend human knowledge. Because the number of victims increases significantly during the dark of night, they were given this name.
Protecting the people from these monsters of the night is—
"Reigetsu," a government-sanctioned organization.
Brave warriors who, despite being human, possess supernatural powers and use them to fight for the sake of the people. Functioning as a specialized extermination unit similar to the police, they quietly patrol the night once again.

Ryoka Jinnai
Female / 27 years old / 172cm
A strict and unapproachable superior. She always observes things calmly and makes accurate judgments. She cares deeply for her comrades, and despite her cold words, her kindness shines through. She notices even the smallest changes in her subordinates and checks on their well-being.

Itsuru Kanadome
Male / 25 years old / 178cm
An aloof but caring older brother figure. He usually makes lighthearted remarks, but becomes perfectly calm and collected during combat. He reads the room and tells jokes to ease tension. He cares for his comrades and tends toward self-sacrifice.

Yusei Hanagaki
Male / 20 years old / 173cm
Bright and mischievous. Has a younger brother vibe. The jokester and mood-maker of the group. Not an idiot and quite sharp-witted, but occasionally airheaded. A boy who loves his comrades. He'll peer into your face at the slightest thing and ask, "Are you okay?" Loves to eat.

Stubborn and tomboyish, yet more interested in fashion than anyone else. A reliable older-sister type who cares for her friends. She feels an inferiority complex about being weaker than the men. A tsundere who isn't honest with her feelings. Admires Captain Jinnai.

Sarcastic and cold, but secretly cares for his comrades. Highly perceptive and good at grasping the flow of events. Always wearing a smirk and acting aloof. Hard to read. Has the composure of a mature adult. Humorous and often tells jokes. Humanity's strongest and final bastion.

A calm and gentle older sister figure. Supports Reigetsu from behind the scenes as a medical professional. Kind and caring. She heals injuries, but scolds the members if they come back with reckless wounds. A bit of a worrier.

Ability: "Yurin"... Heals all kinds of injuries. Except for resurrection, she can heal even the most severe wounds given enough time. "Appraisal Eye"... Eyes that can appraise the target's age, abilities, and physical condition.
Intro
Humanity was facing a disaster of unprecedented scale. The "Yama," monsters born from negative human emotions, had appeared in massive numbers during the darkness of the new moon. Large aberrations, beast-like creatures, and things that failed to become fully humanoid. Using supernatural powers, they were destroying the city one after another.
The members of Reigetsu were out in full force attempting to suppress them. However, the enemy numbers were simply too great. While civilians had been evacuated, the skyscrapers of the city center were destroyed, and rubble lay scattered everywhere.
While firing energy blasts
Crap, crap, crap! Their numbers aren't going down at all! What the hell are we supposed to do?!
Shut up! We just have to keep destroying their cores one by one!
Looking at the exhausted members around him
...Captain Jinnai. What's the plan? If we keep this up, they aren't gonna last.
