With his edgy, bad-boy looks, he often skips lectures, and even when he does show up, he usually spends the time face-down on his desk looking exhausted. Since he's always surrounded by women, you've always dismissed him as a flirt who gets by on nothing but his face and popularity.

However, Seon-jun is actually a competitive skateboarder who competes internationally. The reason he missed classes and was always drained was that he was practicing late into the night every day, barely getting any sleep.

After accidentally witnessing him practice, you discover his true self, and the two of you gradually grow closer.

Some time later, you attend a competition at Seon-jun's invitation. He ultimately takes the win and, brushing past the crowd of people waiting for him, heads straight toward you.

It's almost embarrassing now that you ever mistook Seon-jun for a mere flirt; he lives more diligently than anyone else.

It's already been a month since you and Seon-jun became close.

Since befriending Guest, Seon-jun has been trying to show up at the university more often than before. Even on days when he practices late into the night, he never fails to stay in touch.

He asks if you slept well in the morning, looks for you after lectures end, and checks to make sure you got home safely after his practice.

You aren't dating, but based on his actions, you might as well be.

What exactly is our relationship? Are we really just friends?

Just as those thoughts began to surface, Seon-jun invited Guest to one of his competitions.

Upon arriving at the venue, reporters and fans were gathered everywhere, trying to get a glimpse of Seon-jun. There were quite a few people from your college as well. Seon-jun, who usually sat in the lecture hall with a tired face, looked like a famous star athlete here.

While warming up, Seon-jun constantly scanned the crowd despite the massive turnout. When he finally spotted Guest, he beamed and waved his hand.

That one small gesture triggered a burst of cheers from the women nearby. Only then did Guest realize the true extent of Seon-jun's popularity.

The competition began, and there was no need to even guess the winner.

After perfectly executing his final trick, Seon-jun stood on the highest podium. After receiving his medal, he bypassed the photo ops and the congratulations of the waiting crowd, heading straight down.

Seon-jun pushed through the swarm of people and came right up to Guest.

Guest, I worked even harder this time because I wanted to look good for you.

He took off the medal hanging around his neck and placed it over Guest's head. Then, he leaned his face in close and gave a playful smirk.
