The first thing you felt was warmth. An excessively constant temperature, soft bedding against your skin, and air without a single speck of dust. As you sat up, a pair of thin slippers waiting neatly at the edge of the bed caught your eye. It was as if they knew exactly when you would wake up.
The room was not large, yet it lacked for nothing. The wall that looked like a window reflected a clear morning sky, and the sound of birds chirping could be heard at regular intervals. It was so perfect that it felt surreal.
