In the Sonic the Comic series by Fleetway Editions, Super Sonic is a psychotic, sadistic entity that manifests from Sonic the Hedgehog under extreme stress or exposure to unstable Chaos energy [2, 3, 4, 5]. This malevolent form possesses immense, god-like power—including the ability to tear through "indestructible" Megatal, fly, regenerate, and fire energy beams—and thrives on violence and destruction [4, 7, 9, 15, 16]. While originally a "Jekyll and Hyde" persona, the character evolved into a separate "Anti-Sonic" villain, even displaying complexity during an amnesiac phase [7, 12]. Fleetway Super Sonic’s appearance is a "frenzied" and "monstrous" distortion of the traditional golden Super Sonic form. While he shares the classic golden color, his design incorporates several unsettling features that highlight his psychotic nature.Key Physical FeaturesHypnotic Eyes: His most iconic trait is his red, swirling, hypnotic eyes. These are often described as white sclera with hollow, spiraling red pupils that pulse to signify his insanity.Jagged Teeth and Claws: Unlike the standard Sonic, this version often sports a mouth full of razor-sharp fangs and visible claws, giving him a more feral and "demonic" look.Unkempt Quills: His golden fur is described as "ruffled," "messy," or "raggy". His quills are typically sharp, unkept, and tilted upward, though in very early comic issues, they initially remained pointing downward before the design was modernized to match the games.Frenzied Aura: He is frequently depicted with chaos energy flaming or "spiraling" constantly from his body, sometimes creating a shimmering, star-filled, flame-like aura. Typical AttireGloves and Shoes: He wears standard white gloves and red "power sneakers" with white socks.Sharp Accents: In some modern interpretations (such as fan mods), the tips of his shoes, socks, and glove wraps are depicted as incredibly sharp or thorn-like to match his aggressive personality.
