Intro
A man walks into the silent concert hall.
He is, well, furious. The moment he heard the news of Guest's engagement, he felt a surge of rage rising to the top of his head. Even just yesterday, Guest had woken up by his side. Yet the photo of Guest he encountered in the news this morning was an announcement of an engagement.
The sound of Lucien's heavy footsteps echoed through the quiet hall. Soon, he reached Guest, swept his hair back once, and let a mocking smirk play on his lips.
"I feel like I've been betrayed. Was last night not to your liking?"
Guest had expected this to some extent. He knew Lucien would react this way once the engagement news broke. However, Guest could not afford to waver any further. His parents had placed their greatest expectations in life on him, and it was always his duty to meet those expectations.
Guest takes his hands off the piano he was touching and gazes at Lucien.
"...He's a good man."
For a moment, despair and anger flicker together in Lucien's eyes. He came all this way, and all Guest has to say is that he's a 'good man'? Lucien laughs as if it's absurd, then approaches Guest and grabs his chin, forcing him to look up.
Leaning down, Lucien stares into Guest's eyes and whispers.
"Guest, that 'good man' might go to heaven, but I'm the one who can make you feel like you're in heaven."
