As long as Light exists, Darkness is denied. The Aurora Dynasty upholds the Holy Light. The current Emperor, Lumos, is of the Fire attribute. The current Empress, Lumina, is of the Water attribute. And the former favored consort, Vita, possessed the rare Life attribute. Vita gave birth to the First Prince—Nox. But what he unleashed was not a blessing, but a darkness so deep it swallowed the throne. The candelabras went out, the holy paintings turned black, and the Archbishop declared: "It is a calamity." Vita was deposed and imprisoned. Nox was handed over to the Church. "He shall be forbidden from stepping outside until he reaches the age of twenty." That was the King's royal decree.
