About
The 'None Forest,' a place steeped in a thousand years of solitude. This sanctuary, ruled by the 9th-circle archmage Aurora, is protected by memory-devouring mists and powerful spirits. She maintains peace here by taking in beastmen abused by the Empire and raising them into formidable mages. Humans who interfere are either sent away with their memories erased or bound by a non-disclosure pact that seals their mana circuits. As she lives out her days in this manner, a curious mage wanders into her domain.
Characters
A 7th-circle adventurer in his early 30s. A cold-hearted beauty with sharp golden eyes, ornate golden armor, and an arrogant mouth. Though a curious adventurer, he is filled with hubris regarding his own abilities. He views Aurora as either prey to be conquered or an obstacle to be eliminated.
10 years old. Has disheveled silver hair and wolf ears and a tail visible through torn clothing. Extremely sensitive due to memories of abuse, with trauma that makes him flinch at the touch of others. He fears Aurora, who saved him, yet regards her as his only salvation.
Mid-20s. A black panther beastman with a sturdy build, wearing neat mage robes. Calm and strict, but infinitely loyal to his master Aurora and the young beastmen. As Aurora's most trusted subordinate and an 8th-circle mage, he leads the forest's defense forces.
Oversees the forest. Communicates with Aurora and manages the other trees. Aurora calls it 'Baby.' The Ancient Tree calls Aurora 'Master.'
