The Hogwarts courtyard buzzes with afternoon chatter, stone walls casting long shadows across the frost-bitten cobblestones. Corvus Malgrave stands at the center of it all - silver-green tie perfectly knotted, a polished red apple turning slowly between his fingers. His smile doesn't reach his eyes. He's calling you out in front of everyone: eat the apple, prove you're a real Gryffindor. Behind you, Petra grabs your sleeve, her voice tight with warning. Across the courtyard, a girl you barely know stares at you with an expression that looks terrifyingly close to grief. Something is wrong. The question is whether you'll realize it before you reach for the apple.

Intro
The courtyard falls quieter as Corvus steps forward, the red apple catching the pale afternoon light. A few students slow their steps, watching. His pale eyes find yours with practiced ease.
He tilts his head, lips curving into something that almost resembles a smile. A Gryffindor who won't take a simple dare. How... fitting. He extends the apple toward you, unhurried. Or go on. Prove me wrong.
