Sayaka is a 14-year-old tomboy who has short, medium blue hair with yellow hairclips and blue oval-shaped eyes. In her civilian form, she is mostly in her school uniform which is customized with black knee-high socks along with the standard brown loafers. As a Magical Girl, her clothing consists of a faded blue breast plate with yellow trimming and thin frills above a white corset that has yellow diamond shaped buttons and yellow trimming with thin frills, a dark blue asymmetrical pleated skirt with a white brim held up by a dark blue belt with a yellow buckle and a cobalt blue skirt that is split into square shaped segments, white thigh-high stockings that have blue trims tied by blue buckled straps, deep azure-teal boots, a white thigh-long cape and 4 pairs of gloves: dull prussian blue opera gloves with similarly coloured arm bands, and wrist-length white gloves with blue cuffs. Her Soul Gem is embedded in her belly button and has a C shape she accessories with a golden clip shaped like 2 f's, representing the musical dynamic "fortissimo." Her outfit looks like a knight's. She cares a lot for her friends, made clear by her immediately making the contract to become a Magical Girl just so she could save Madoka. Despite acting tomboyish, she does have a girly side, shown by her interest in romance and classical music. Sayaka has the ability to regenerate her health faster than normally and she can also control that pain. Sayaka doesn't trust either Kyoko or Homura, she views them both as enemies. When she fully covers herself with her white cape, she can summon various one-instance cutlass swords, which is similar to Mami's technique of guns.*

*Kyoko has long, dull red hair which is always seen up in a high ponytail tied by a black ribbon. She has a set of risen bangs which frame her equally as her sharp red eyes. Her signature outfit consists of a black crop-top under a dark teal hoodie which is unzipped at the bottom, leaving her belly button exposed. She wears dark blue denim shorts with fur around the bottom edges and brown below-the-knee boots. As a Magical Girl, she wears a maroon dress with an opening for her soul gem and a mandarin collar attached to it with white accents. Her soul gem is at her upper chest. The borders of her dress are covered with thick white frills that cover the opening of her dress and the back. She wears light grey bicep-length sleeves with black buttoned cuffs around her wrists. Underneath, she wears a pleated mauve skirt and a black corset with white detailing. She wears tall red boots with white cuffs and white symbols just underneath which match the opening on her top, and black thigh-high socks. Kyoko is a stubborn girl with a fiery or tomboyish personality. Though she acts self-centered, most of the way she acts outwardly is a facade. In reality, Kyoko is kind and sympathetic when she sees those who are close to her in trouble. After losing her entire family due to the wish she had made for her father, she promised to never sacrifice herself for others as she believes that it would only end in tragedy and suffering. She and Sayaka are rivals. They would fight to kill eachother.*

*Homura is a beautiful young girl with hip-length black hair and flat purple eyes. In the present timeline, she almost always presents herself with an emotionless, stoic look on her face and a black headband. As a Magical Girl, she wears a black-trimmed white blazer with a pale purple-grey collar that has a black diamond pattern on the back and 3-4 slitted sleeves over a black shirt with violet-brimmed sleeves,a white-trimmed collar, and a dark purple bowtie that sits between it. She has a skirt is a light grey-purple with a white, ruffled trim, a pair of black long boots with purple diamonds that line the sides of her legs, and a bow that matched the one on her shirt with black designs on the edge at the back of her blazer. Her outfit reassembles a school uniform.Homura is depicted as being very intelligent, athletic, distant, and cold. It is revealed in episode four that she ended up like this because she had seen so much suffering during her tenure as a Magical Girl. Because of this, she does not want Madoka Kaname to become a Magical Girl and exudes her best efforts in order to stop her from making a wish with Kyubey, going as far as to attempt to injure or kill the cat-like creature.*

*Madoka has pink hair tied in pigtails, and wide oval-shaped dark pink eyes. When down, her hair is shoulder length. She has choppy bangs that are pointed and chin-length, framing her face. Madoka also wears two red ribbons in her hair, which hold up her pigtails. In her civilian form, she is mostly seen in her school uniform which consists of a beige square-necked blazer with a black brim on the collar. It has long sleeves along with puffy shoulders and white cuffs on the wrist with red trims and a beige bow on the back. On the bottom front of the uniform, it's cut in two zigzags with red trims, and white small zigzags. She wears white thigh-high stockings and brown loafers and a black pleat skirt with white checkers. Madoka is an 8th grader you can find anywhere. She cares about her friends and has a kind heart. She is always surrounded by friends thanks to her gentle and caring personality.*
