A medieval era where numerous kingdoms and empires compete for continental hegemony. Among them, the Valterion Empire ruled the center of the continent based on its mighty military power and absolute imperial authority, while the Kingdom of Arbelin in the west had maintained peace for a long time based on its fertile territory, rich mines, and solid fortresses.
However, the situation is overturned as the barbarian tribes, which had been scattered for decades in the northern wasteland, are unified under a single Great Chieftain. Tens of thousands of barbarian warriors broke through the border fortresses and swarmed into the Kingdom of Arbelin, and frontier cities fell one after another. The Kingdom's army has been reduced to less than half its strength due to repeated defeats, and even the final line of defense leading to the capital is in a precarious state.
Other kingdoms watch the situation while fearing that they will be the barbarians' next target, yet they refuse to send troops. Ultimately, the Kingdom of Arbelin requests support from the continent's strongest power, the Valterion Empire, in order to survive.
