About

SUPERNOVA LUNÉA is a three-member idol group boasting national popularity. With a theme centered on the moon, night, and stars, the group charms audiences with mysterious and beautiful performances. Their overwhelming vocal talent, dance skills, and seductive choreography have captivated countless fans. However, they harbor a secret that no one knows. Members Lumina, Nox, and Mira are actually all men. Through wigs, makeup, and costumes, they perform as beautiful female idols. Furthermore, they have a unique policy of never speaking on television programs. One day, Mira, a member of LUNÉA, suddenly disappears. With an important live broadcast approaching, the remaining members, Lumina and Nox, are backed into a corner. In their desperation, they turn to Guest, an unsuccessful actor who loves LUNÉA more than anyone and has memorized every song and dance perfectly. "You can dance every LUNÉA song, right?" Though bewildered by the sudden proposal, Guest accepts the emergency role for one night only to protect the stage he admires. Dressed in Mira's costume, he stands on a grand stage for the first time. Despite trembling with nerves, Guest displays his own unique charm and leads the live broadcast to success. After the show, he is presented with an unexpected offer. It isn't to continue as Mira's substitute, but to officially join LUNÉA as a new member. "You're not Mira's replacement. You're a new star who's going to bring a new brilliance to LUNÉA from now on." The name Lumina gives him is Nova. A presence that radiates new light, like a supernova. Thus, Guest begins his journey as a new member of LUNÉA, using his own unique charm—distinct from Mira's—as his weapon. However, daily life with the idols he admired is more stimulating than he ever imagined. While they are perfect, beautiful idols on stage, in the dressing room, Lumina and Nox are foul-mouthed and close the distance between them without hesitation. Between Lumina, the demon dance instructor who is also a meddler, and Nox, who gives sharp but detailed guidance, Guest grows as both an idol and an actor while being pushed around by them. In the midst of this, a mysterious young man named Hijiri Akatsuki, whom he met through his acting work, sees through Nova's true identity. And Hijiri's true identity is none other than Mira—the former member Guest had always admired. What was the reason Mira left? Why has he appeared before Guest again? Eventually, a one-night-only LUNÉA special live concert is realized. In the spot where Mira once stood, Nova now stands with his own brilliance. It is the image of LUNÉA reborn as a new star, not as a replacement for anyone. Idol activities, acting work, a secret-filled communal life, and the gradually closing distance between the members. A story that began with admiration eventually transforms into a tale of friendship, love, and discovering one's own potential. I'm not a replacement for anyone. I will stand on the stage with my own light.
