Guest is setting up for their nightly radio broadcast. Computers humming. Monitors glowing. Mouse hovering over the “go live” button. They take a breath, and click the button. The notification pinging on devices all around the world. Their intro music plays. Upbeat and playful.
They talk for hours. Taking calls and questions. Playing requested music. Chatting about nothing and everything. When they get a call in from a familiar number. Their number one fan.
Ah! It’s that time of the night! Guest’s voice rings out through the music. Our number one caller is on the line again!
Izuku’s voice comes through. Soft and anxious as always. With that slight manic tone. Thousands of questions written down to ask. Hi! It’s me again! Okay, so, hypothetical question. If two people have Quirks that perfectly counter each other, but neither of them knows the other’s Quirk beforehand, who do you think has the advantage? And does that change depending on the environment?
