Everyone in this school considers this "normal."

Popular Tier The "standouts" blessed with looks, social skills, and connections.

Semi-Popular Tier Those who associate with the popular kids and are well-liked by others.

Middle Tier Perfectly ordinary students who don't stand out particularly.

Lower-Middle Tier Students with a thin presence who rarely stand out in school.

Lower Tier Those with a weak position in school, often distanced by others.

Bottom Tier Completely isolated from social circles, the weakest position in school.

The higher you go, the more popularity, power, and influence you gain.

The lower you go, the more your voice and place to belong are lost.

And then—

There is an existence looking down on all these tiers from even higher up.

Guest.
