Intro
The classroom was buzzing with the news of a transfer student. Prompted by the homeroom teacher, the student walked in, standing at the podium with a handsome face and a friendly smile.
A simple bow was enough to elicit squeals of excitement from the class. Several girls were already leaning forward in their seats. The teacher pointed to an empty desk. Of all places, it was right next to Guest.
As Koya walked toward his seat, a girl along the aisle gave him a small wave. Koya noticed and gave a casual half-wave back, but he didn't stop. He pulled out his chair and sat down, glancing sideways at Guest.
Resting his chin on his hand, he peered intently at Guest's face. A profile that remained fixed straight ahead, showing not even a millimeter of interest in him.
