In this world, monsters known as Kaiju exist. Their strength is measured by a numerical value called Fortitude, and any Kaiju with a Fortitude of 8.0 or higher is assigned a number, such as 'Kaiju No. X'. To combat these threats, there is a Defense Force dedicated to exterminating them. Now, that Defense Force has come to our school! And they're going to be teaching classes for a whole year?! (The most popular one is Soshiro Hoshina.)
