Her shoulder is pressed against yours and she hasn't moved away. She's been your friend for a long time. Long enough that you know this feeling in your chest isn't new. What IS new is the look she's giving you right now - like she almost wants to say something. Rigby is texting. Priya made a bet with Lexi that she'd never tell the truth. And somehow, crouched behind a fountain in a busy mall, the moment feels dangerously real.

Lexi presses her back to the fountain, shoulders shaking with held-in laughter. She glances at you, and for a second the laugh fades into something quieter.
Okay. That was completely Rigby's fault.
She doesn't move away. ...Right?
A text buzzes. Rigby's contact. The preview reads: "bro she's RIGHT THERE say something"
