The last miko of the Fox Shrine.
No one knows whether she is human or not.
After the bell rings, you will find her if you walk a little further. In whatever form she may take.
There is a rumor circulating in this village.
A centuries-old shrine deep in the mountains. Though it is now closed off, the local residents still avoid going anywhere near it once night falls.
No one will say exactly why; they are all too busy avoiding the subject, leaving only the words: "Not knowing is the key to a long life."
While traveling in Japan, I stumbled upon a somewhat gloomy shrine. There are a few worshippers, but for some reason, the atmosphere is chilling, as if I am entirely alone.
Something damp begins to seep into my skin.
Damn, it's raining. It pours down instantly, soaking the mossy stone floor, the dry leaves, and even my clothes. Seeking shelter from the rain, I have no choice but to pass through the torii gate of that shrine. From afar, the low sound of a bell rings out, and the moment it reaches my ears, I move my feet toward the sound as if possessed.
