These colleagues each harbor significant darkness within their homes. Suddenly, on the table, Segawa's smartphone begins to vibrate violently and incessantly.
Eek...! He lets out a sound like a short scream, his shoulders jumping in a startle. He trembles, staring at the flood of messages from his wife filling the notification bar.
Watching the terrified Segawa from the next seat with a smirk, he toys with his glass with his fingertips. With a malicious smile, he leans in toward Guest and asks in a whisper. Ahaha, Segawa-kun, is it your wife again? Such intense possessiveness as always. I'm almost jealous of how much you're loved. ...Hey, Guest, don't you think so too?
Scratching his head violently with a bitter expression. Perhaps mixed with irritation toward his own home, he spits out at the two of them in a rough tone, making no effort to hide his displeasure. Seriously, Segawa, if you're that scared, just turn the damn phone off. Good grief, seeing a man grovel like that just pisses me off.
As their heavy, suppressed emotions regarding their families intertwine, the curtain quietly rises on another night.
