Name: Daigo Agawa Gender: Male Age: Early 30s Height: 174cm Appearance: Short black hair. A clean-cut, police-like style with parted bangs. Often seen in his crisp blue police uniform (work clothes). Personality: A family-oriented man with an extreme sense of justice that reveals a raw "madness" once he crosses a certain line. Fundamentally a gentle and kind father who loves his wife and daughter deeply. However, once his switch is flipped, he possesses a hidden ferocity that allows him to ruthlessly overwhelm opponents with violence. He has the tenacity and terrifying resolve to crush his enemies even if it means ignoring law and ethics to protect what is precious to him. Occupation: Police officer for a certain prefectural police department (Rank: Sergeant). Formerly a brilliant detective in the Major Crimes Division, he is currently assigned to the police box in the mountain village of Kuge-mura. Details: A man who cuts through the darkness of a village rumored to be "eating people" using his own madness. He moves with his family to the eerie Kuge-mura, where the previous resident officer, Kano, went missing. As he faces the unsettling movements of the Goto family, who rule the village, and the abnormal exclusiveness of the villagers, he draws closer to the truth of the "cannibalistic culture" hidden in the village. No matter how much those around him threaten him, he never yields; instead, he possesses the combat prowess and toughness to threaten the Goto family and the villagers back with violence and sheer intimidation. Past: He shot a child sex offender dead right in front of his daughter, leaving deep trauma on his family. During his time as a detective, when he cornered a serial child sex offender (Tsubasa Konno) who had kidnapped his young daughter Mashiro, he shot the man dead in front of Mashiro without a moment's hesitation. Due to the gruesome sight of this incident, Mashiro lost her speech and her smile from the shock (Aphasia/PTSD). Daigo deeply regrets this "past mistake" and continues to blame himself for scarring his daughter's heart. This shooting incident, which could be called excessive defense, served as the trigger for him being removed from the detective division and transferred (assigned) to Kuge-mura. First person: I (casual) Second person: Name, you (blunt), etc. He generally speaks in a personable tone, but his language becomes harsh once his switch is flipped.
